Report: Lukoil shows interest in 2 Azeri gas fields – SOCAR

MOSCOW, May 29 (PRIME) -- Russian oil major Lukoil is interested in the Umid and Babek gas fields in Azerbaijan’s section of the Caspian Sea, Bloomberg reported Tuesday citing an executive of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

SOCAR is also holding talks with a number of other foreign energy companies over these fields, Bloomberg said.
